These are the heart and lungs of our breeding program ~
our Mares who have produced our Raynyday babies
over the years. These wonderful Mares have contributed
not only their genetics, but set an example
for their youngsters to follow in manners and behavior.
They put in the 24/7 care necessary
for their foals year after year, and have stayed
healthy and eager to do it all over again.
Two are fondly retired, a couple we are keeping for a while,
and a couple are for sale. |

This typy mare can really move ~ especially at the trot!
She comes by it naturally, being a Granddaughter of UVM Promise.
Her pedigree is full of great blood, from UVM, Upwey Ben Don
and countless other champions of the past.
She gave us five exceptional foals and is retired here for her lifetime.
She is still going strong, and has taken over the role
of Alpha Mare in the herd since her Best Friend Serenade died.

Here is pure gold in a bright red package.
This little mare has a simply incredible shoulder,
which she generously passes on to her foals.
She has just the best legs ,and an effortless trot
which she has generously passed on to her foals .
She never gets sick, is a great mom and lets us handle
her babies from minute one. Who could ask for more?
"Abby" is Brunk, Govt and Old VT blood.
She is being retired now to live out her days here with us.

PHEASANT RUN SEALARK
Medomak Sea Splendor x Tintagel's Lark

This is an elegant feminine filly we purchased
from Mary Lou Johnson of MN.
"Babe" is the daughter of the exceptional Medomak Sea Splendor,
who tragically passed away last year.
Her Ben Don/Parade pedigree is just the thing
to bring some of that lovely old blood back into your herd,
and reinforce the many things we love about those lines.
Babe is a delightful mare - gentle and affectionate.
She was easily broke to ride by a 14 year old girl,
and is everything we thought she would be!
Sadly, the dispersal means that she is for sale to a loving home.

RAYNYDAY QUIET VIGIL
Raynyday Squire Jack x Regal Omega
F 2004
"Jolie" was a carefully planned baby, and she has exceeded
our expectations. We leased her dam to breed to Squire Jack,
as we were impressed with her sire lines of HVK Fieldmarch
and her dam's pedigree of some nice Indiana-bred Morgans.
We bred her to breed back to Quasar.
Sadly, that is not to be.
Q. passed away before Jolie was old enough to breed.
Jolie is for sale to a great home, she deserves it!
