Medomak Sea Splendor x Tintagel's Lark

This lovely mare is one of the last daughters of
the incredible Medomak Sea Splendor,
son of the beautiful Windcrest Splendor by Upwey Ben Don.
She is an absolute jewel, and a mare we were proud
to add to our breeding program.
We were excited about breeding her to Quasar,
and even Squire Jack. "Babe" has the strong infusion
of Ben Don's blood, plus the wonderful old Morgan Parade.
Tragically, we never had the chance to breed her.
She is green broke to ride, very gentle and affectionate,
and especially loves children.
This young mare is a wonderful candidate
to start a breeding program,
or the epitome of a Best Friend for someone.

This handsome stallion gets better looking and more powerful
in his movement as each year has passed.
We left him entire because he has a strong concentration
of our bloodlines, and we are confident that he will
pass on a lot of the qualities we admire.
Now that the horse market has suffered such an
economic blow, I would choose Rio for my dressage partner
if I were riding again, so he could be gelded if keeping
a stallion would have issues. It would be so tempting
to breed him to one mare, but the market is so poor now
that we feel it would be irresponsible to breed at
this time. Rio is all Morgan - good attitude,
full of joy and curiosity. We wholeheartedly
recommend him to the sport rider and/or breeder.

"Jet" is a lovely black gelding with a wealth of
old Government, Midwest and Ranch horse blood.
We have been his owner/admirers since he was just
a weanling, and he has matured into just a wonderful
example of his breeding.
His Grandsire, Black River Major was a successful
show horse and sire of many champions in the
Midwest. Jet's dam VelvetRose was a champion
In-Hand mare in her early years, and she was the
culmination of some of the best Morgans that
were produced at Cambridge Farm in CO.
Cambridge bred using horses that were pretty
enough to show, and were used in ranch work
every day. Jet will make an excellent CDE pony.
He loves pulling the cart, and looks lovely in harness.
His jet black color will make him stand out.
He is currently in training with Bob Skelton,
and will have nearly 90 days of driving and
riding experience. It is a real shame to lose
his wonderful old blood, but stallions are difficult
to place, so we decided a home as a using horse
would be best for him. No pics of his sire and dam yet,
but I am looking.
